Preventive Maintenance

The best way to ensure the ongoing, reliable operation of your equipment is to carry out preventative maintenance at regular intervals. Our Preventative Maintenance Program helps to reduce unexpected and unwanted downtime, thereby optimizing your productivity. High quality machinery, as supplied by the CHRONOS GROUP, requires periodic adjustments, needs to have worn parts replaced; fluids and filters need checking; control system functions, hardware and peripherals also need to be checked or verified.

We offer different levels of Preventative Maintenance support with different degrees of technical intervention depending on your needs / production levels. These programmes are tailored to your specific needs, i.e.
For a small plant working just one shift per day all year round – one visit per year may be sufficient
Whereas for a plant working two or three shifts per day, 24/7 – up to four visits per year may be recommended.

Typical service elements include:

  • Fluid and filter checks
  • Complete calibration of any weighing system
  • Tensioning and tracking of all belts
  • Replacement of wear parts as required
  • Fine tuning of machine settings [if necessary]
  • Verification of control system functionality
  • Check the integrity of all control system hardware and peripherals

Your service specialists are fully trained to know your equipment and are thus able to calibrate or fine tune machine settings. If you would like further information – please get in touch with us.
