PREMIER TECH makes an U.S. acquisation and introduces new label STONEPAK

In May 2009 our parent company PREMIER TECH announced the acquisition of the Equipment Division of Graphic Packaging International, Inc located in Salt Lake City, U.S.A. The company is specialised in valve bagging equipment. With this acquisition, Premier Tech Systems (PTS), a business unit of Premier Tech, integrates the renowned expertise of some 60 skilled team members to its existing team of 500 people. In so doing PTS has strengthened its position as the North American leader in the field of industrial flexible packaging. The addition of a sixth plant in North America allows PTS to improve its presence in its various markets, while diversifying its product line, in order to speed up its penetration of the American territory. These products will now be marketed by PTS under the STONEPAK label (former St-Regis and Stone) and will complete the company’s technological platforms.
