Repeat order from Renowned Seed Producer for Fully Automatic Bag Packaging System

We have secured a repeat order from the seed breeding and production company P.H. Petersen, Lundsgaard, Northern Germany for a fully automatic bagging line utilising an OML 600 for open-mouth bags. This is the third line OML 600 bagging system that Chronos Richardson has delivered to P.H. Petersen.

Two systems have been installed in Grundhof / Germany and one line was installed at their Hungarian production site. Chronos Richardson’s Field Sales Manager Dirk Müller asked CEO A.Sören Petersen, who has managed the family business since 1974, what finally convinced them to buy the OML 600? Mr Petersen responded: “The solid, effective machine design; as well as the reliable and prompt customer service from Chronos Richardson were the key factors. Furthermore our company attaches great importance to economic, state-of-the-art technology as our company name and products have already become recognised for quality.”

In January the latest OML 600N bagging system was installed and commissioned at Grundhof / Germany. The systems include: an automatic bag placer with a multi-chamber empty bag magazine and an E55 F1 net weighing system (new generation highspeed weigher) and integrated sewing machine.

Diverse varieties of seed are bagged into cross-bottom-bags made from multiply paper. The filling weight can vary between 10 and 50kg per bag with an output of 800 bags per hour. CRS Field Sales Manager Dirk Müller emphasises: “This bagging line is ideal for medium performances and offers a well designed and user-friendly machine layout. High hygienic standards are guaranteed by the continuous controlled bag transfer. The machine was built for optimum clean-down, quick and easy bag change over.”

Further features are easily accessible machine components, the hygienic designed machine frame. The interchangeable bag spout simplifies the change over to handle different bag dimensions. A touch panel operation with graphical user interface makes the machine operation easy and comfortable. The pre-installed control minimizes the installation costs. The control board contains state-of-the-art SIEMENS components which allow an external access to all machine parameters for time and cost saving telemaintenance.
